There is a person who does float trips from Zoar S P to Aylet that might be able to help. I can't recall his name but I think he lives near there. Only used his service once and someone else set the trip up.

My app has Wakema listed, but not Aylett...I'm guessing if I add 2 hours that should do it. Wakema and Walkerton are about an hour apart on tides and Aylett seems to be equidistant from Walkerton...so I'm thinking +2 from Wakema. Does anyone agree or any tips? Thanks guys

I typed in aylett tides on my Google search, it directed me to a site called MY FORECAST. It will give you the info you're looking for.

Thanks Mark...I did the same google search the other day and if you look closely, the tides they provide are for Rockett's Landing on the James River, even though you type in Aylett. It is in small letters right below the time on the upper left. I couldn't find the Aylett tides anywhere. Hence my post, wondering what to add to either walkerton or preferably wakema.
Post Pic's after trip.
I think it's more like 90 minutes difference between Walkerton and Aylett. It seems to vary quite a bit--I rarely hit it exactly right. Garrie Rouse runs Mattaponi Canoe and Kayak. www.mattaponi.co.
If you're looking for a paddling partner, let me know. I'm moving over the next couple weeks, up river near the bridge on Dorrell Rd. New territory for me and can't wait.
