    thanks Ed. Its not that creative though. TapOut64's boat and the model up from mine all have the same features. I just didnt have the money to spend on it. So I did the best I could to copy it. Only regret is NOT GETTING THE 16 FOOTER.
    Dean (Idunno) has the 16fter and its hard to believe that 2 ft makes that big of a difference.

    x2 I fished out out of a 1436 for a few years and I understand your stability issues! I would spend the extra Benjamins and get the wider model! Wide is good in the Jon Boat world!

    I agree! my 1470 (48 on bottom) went faster than my 1442) My 16' by 48 MV goes even faster and it is heavier.

    The middle seat in my jon boat had been converted to a live well when I bought the boat, not good for anything else, but, is a nice live well.
