Before I give my report I give you the best looking office chair ever made.
Now to the report. My favorite site, my Lund sitting pier side at the ramp at Eastland Creek, ready to head out.
I stayed in Eastland all day long and while 64 crappie is the most I have caught in this creek, unfortunately, a lot of them were small. I did however get 5 that went 1lb or better with the biggest at 1lb 4oz.
I also had 4 that were 15oz including the 13"er in this video which I could not believe was only 15oz.

Early on I could only find them 15' deep in the brush. I had to drop my Wasshoppah into the brush and they loved pearl/chartreuse. I had some luck casting Cajun Cricket but had to get it down to 15' as well.
Later in the day I found some in water around 10'-12' deep and got them 6' deep casting Blue Ice. I even found two new brush piles of which one gave up two of my 1lb'ers within a minute of each other. I think I was only catching females and most looked to be spawned out with a few still have belly's on them. I did not catch any in water less than 10' deep.
I was up at 4:00 and got home at 9:30. It was a long day but fun. I let all the crappie go as I hate cleaning crappie that late at night. Water temp was 64-68 and the weather was down right nice. Lots of bass fishermen zipping around Eastland.
