WTG Mike, sounds like you all had a great time, don,t know weather I will go much this year but it is one Great Lake to fish, the fish will still be near the shallow pockets in the creek run thru May but will be mostly on BP 10 to 18 feet deep, just hit the tops of them and it will be better to come down lake some after spawn because bluestone and buff will be hard to find the bigger fish in them then, they seams to hold smaller fish then and bigger fish head for river

Yea the lake is more what I am used to growing up in Tennessee so i am comfortable there I just need to learn the seasonal locations. I saw you Gene flying around from dock to dock last week is that somewhere they hold all year I have never fished docks until summer.

Docks are more spring and fall with a few in main lake in summer.this lake needs to be separated in 2 or 3 section to know where and when to fish each section.First section being up river to big bridge ,second section from bridge to Rudds and 3 section from Rudds to dam or you could put second and third together, but doing this will help determine how you fish and where you fish at a certain time of year

This is a very good way to look at this lake. knowin where to fish when is what it takes to stay on active fish. from the rivers to the bridges is good early in the yr, then they move or are more active from the bridges down the lake to Butchers. but dependin on lake level they may become more catchable above the bridges around the middle of Aug, can't they Gene?
