    Default Meade- 4/15.... SLOW!

Startered at 0930 and kept at it until 1830. Two bass, 2 gar, and a pike. No crappie. I threw jigs until I ran out of heads- no bumps on the plastic. All 4 bites were under the pitchkettle rd bridge.

Im no crappie catcher, but I can usually squeak out a few. I need someone to nudge me in the right direction...

From what I have been reading no one has been catching much the last few days. But at least you tried.

I don't fish there much but last Sept. I caught 143. Here's part of my log.

did well long lining Cajun Cricket and Money jig with curly tail. Also did well on orange/chart and pearl/chart wasshoppahs hanging over the side with white crappie nibbles.
That lake is loaded with crappie, they must be hiding somewhere.

What the hecks a washoppa and a Cajun cricket??? I speak minners and small kalins jigs. My dad used to take me up there when I was a kid, sometimes we'd catch something, some times not. I wanna be able to take him and catch a few.
