Well like I said in first post was gonna try Buggs for first time. fished Bluestone and Buffalo creeks. Long line trolled jigs. WT 70 by end of day. Caught fish from 5-20fow. Best fish for us came in 11-17 fow. Friends threw to banks with jigs and did pretty good also. Met some really nice people at the ramp.Long drive there and back in 1 day though. Left Rural Hall 430am back home 1015pm. caught 60+, kept 24 + 1 white bass. Here's some of best.

Great report, always nice to get into fish on a new lake, especially when you have a lot of valuable time and money invested. Buggs produces some nice fish, but they never have much color, they always seem pale to me... But I guess it's because I mostly fish dark water.

That's awesome for your first trip there, nice job. I have had many long days fishing there as well. It takes me 2.5 hours to get there.

Glad to hear you had a good day. That lake can really be tough to figure out. Seems like you did very good for your 1st trip there
