Caught this 18" black crappie this past Saturday at Buggs in Bluestone Creek. She hit a hand tied black and green jig on brush in 18 fow. Very healthy fish released to spawn another day. Was a cold tough bite but we hung all day and managed a few good fish. Trolled Sandy on Friday and did ok in the morning with about 10 keepers to 13". Bite died after lunch. Water temps averaged 45* stained but not bad. The Dan river side of the lake is muddy but Bluestone was ok. FB
