    Default Buggs with fish doc

My first trip to buggs island
and my best crappie fishing trip in VA!!!

We started out about a mile from the big bridge near best western hotel...anyway Fish doc had set blast off at 0800...... my bud (Calico Smitty) and I was at the ramp at 0759 ...Doc was in the water ready for business!

First rule don't lay your rod down with your jig in the water and no minnow allowed ...OK GOT IT LETS FISH!
Also he has more jigs then you can loose ( I tested that rule) :o

By 1030 F.D. had a dozen fish in the boat and Calico and I may have had 3 or 4 keepers ...after a little OJT and counting down training we started boating more fish ...

Fish doc would say ok LOOK cast.....(as he casted ) and count down to 8 (as he counted) ...7...8 boom ACTUALLY SETING THE HOOK and caught a fish ............he did this maybe twice perhaps 3 times but whose counting LOL
F.D. has skills.......... all in all we had a great time we did a LOT of kidding back and forth (all in fun of course)
If you haven't fished this lake before and thinking about it go with fish doc he's a good guy and will put you on the fish and he always knows ONE MORE SPOT!!! LOL

I finally got my phone updated but the photos wont post, I'll try again later

I failed to post the numbers
We had 60 - 80 fish 2 keeper bass and perhaps 2 more dink bass the rest were crappie, the jigs we used were white but I feel I shouldn't disclose more than that F.D. can post more details if he chooses.

Keith thanks for being a gracious host I hope to look you up next time for more fishing ( I think I have the name right this time Bill )

I fished with him and it was ridiculous how many he was catching compared to us. He set the hook like he wanted to rip their little lips off.
