Ok guys, been gone for a looong time! I have been traveling for work a lot and my boat was indisposed for 3 months! I was hoping to get out this weekend (either after work Friday and/or Saturday). Been looking at the posts and seems the fishing is picking up which is good because I still haven't hauled more then 3 or 4 specks since this spring when everyone here helped me out. Also, still haven't made it out to any of the Suffolk Lakes. I was thinking maybe NorthWest or North Landing and really just looking to take the little one for an hour or two and have her catch some. Any recommendations? Not looking for just crappie and willing to use live minnows, worms, jigs, even my hands if I have to...just kidding. I am not into swimming into a hole and sticking my hands under something hoping I get a bite and then hoping it is a fish. lol Really, just hoping to catch enough to keep some for eating (again, any fish) and some for fun for the 3 y/o. Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer as it is looking like the fall weather is pushing in! Can't wait for some fall fishing, even thinking of taking my boat out to the CBBT if it is calm enough and see what I can catch this fall.
Anyway, tight lines all!
Brian

Got it, I am glad you posted my "private message" portion of my toolbar didn't show I had anything new. I was sure it would show when you had a message. Well, either way, thanks a ton. I will post pic's if we get anything.
Went out to North Landing with the little one Friday night and didn't get anything but we did "go fast" so she was pretty happy. I went again today from about 7:30 to 2:30. I have a lot of work to do to catch up to some of you guys. Only caught 5 crappie, one was about 10" the others were smaller. I also caught 4 Largemouth, 3 White Perch and 2 pumpkinseeds. A great day to be out but wish the wind would have relaxed a little, I might have done better then. Like I said, I still have a ways to go to catch up to some of you guys.
Tight lines,
Brian
