good to have you aboard. most of us who fish the n/w river wait till the water buggs stop coming when the temps cool down. i start fishing there when the leaves are almost gone. a good pattern to fish that time of year is to fish creek mouth points. except for the over all size this river has alot fo crappies. i'll be there in late october. look for a blue and white bath tub and that is me. tight lines JIM.B

Welcome aboard. I live just on the other side of Tulls Creek. Not far from where 34 splits off of 168. I fish NWR a lot was out today. I am in a Bass America, silver, have crappie stickers on her. The fall bit is not up yet. Ski boats still makin the fish mad. Water is down and out of the woods, fish very close to the banks as they are huggin the trees.

Thanks Tahoe..I have been out 3 times in the last 2 weeks and have caught 2 crappie on a jig. At this rate, I will be 200 yrs old when I eventually have me a 45 crappie day! I'll post a report if and when I can ever learn to catch the dern things.
