    Default A few hours at Blackwater


    Fish were slow and in deep cover 10' down in 12-26fow, caught a few from bridge pilands, dont usually catch em in these spots until mid summer. Tryed out CToms new golden shiner baits, ended up with 11 crappie, and a few bream on flyrod, strike indicator set at 3'....theyll be on topwater soon

    Which Blackwater? There are 3 of them in the state.

    blackwater river, joins nottoway at the stateline forms the chowan river
