The wind must have been whipping when you left home. Did is settle down early Am?

It's actually chartreuse and pearl and I have not tried the glow grubs. And yes, the wind was rather brisk when I left home and blew 5-10 while I was out there. It was a bit annoying but manageable.

Yes, I put in at the end of Eastland Creek Road. It's 144 miles from my house and the closest ramp. However, I won't hesitate to make a run. Friday I ran 40 miles and have had days when I run 50-60 miles.

I like the chartreuse/pearl wasshoppah but I also dip the tail in chartreuse dye. (picked this up from fishdoc) I also do well with a solid chartreuse wasshoppah in deeper water or on cloudy days. In the summer blue/pearl does well when the water is clear. As to the brush, I guess it's your standard Buggs brush pile. I don't really know what it is.
