And we had about 15-20 keeper specs ( if we would have wanted to keep em) The crappie were not doing much for us ............ But the Stripers were feedin up for winter. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doc gave me a lesson on stripers and we put a hurtin on em. Had 22 when we got off the water with several in the 12-20 lb class range................. If you guys get a chance to fish with this guy, take the chance and learn.......

GeneC, caught a few on ur lil white grub.................................. Don gave me a few......thanks. But most of the specks were 7' deep over 13' of water on the blue ice. Doc had a 15" one of the end of a lay down and i netted it with fine style.....

Thanks Doc for a great day on the water and lets do it again tomorrow. : )

wvspec,tried blue ice,would not hold a candle IMO to my white grub,and I would not call 122 with 70 keepers ,many in 13 to 14 inch a few. The time before 88 then 82 then 152 0n white jig. not many small ones because if I catch about 3 small ones in a row ,I pull up TM and go to next spot .I know everyone loves the blue ice and I don't understand why I can't catch many on it. I would try it but partner would start catching more so I would go back to white. just my 2 cents worth

Sounds like a good trip wv. Those stripers can be fun too. Just cant keep 'em off my jigs down here now.:rolleyes::D
