The unit I bought was from GPS store and the 74SV was $899 and the Livescope was $1499. You can buy the HD transducer which is another $500 but my images are crystal clear so I didn't buy it. I copied this guys video on kayak install. For boat there are many Youtube videos on how to make it portable to use on other boats or a dock.

Awesome. Will check it out in a second. Just bought this boat so not sure if I want to spend another 2k but it might be worth it. The boat has 2 networked Helix 7’s and I added my Lowrance hook 7 up front. I guess one more monitor would make me look like a tech geek in a boat but I could find the fish. LOL.
