looking for recomendations
Due to an illness I will have to stay someplace within a couple of hours of Dallas. We are thinking of using our camper and staying at an RV / Campground. Looking at the Quinlan, Tx, Lake Tawakoni area.
Any recommendations for campgrounds or other information would be greatly appreciated. Looking at monthly rates.
May have to be there several months and don't want to just sit around twidling my thumbs so a little fishing will be a plus.

Might give Michael Littlejohn a call. He is a local guide on Tawakoni and might be able to recommend a campground. I have fished with him for catfish before and would recommend him for a fishing trip.

Have not looked on google yet, so not sure about the area you named. When we are in the Dallas area, we always stay at The Vineyards in Grapevine. We love the park and it is on Lake Grapevine. The city of Grapevine is an awesome town, with a small town feel. It has an opry of local talent, that is cheap to attend and a great show. Good luck to you.
