    Default Local Gun/Fishing Shops in Dallas/Ft. Worth/Euless/Arlington

I apologize for this thread if it is not legal. I did not see an Off-Topic Forum for Texas. I am going to see my brother in Euless and I wanted to ask my Texas crappie.com members for some help. I would like to visit some local gun shops while I am there. I am limited on time so please recommend some that you enjoy going to. Fishing stuff is great too. I also would like to ask where is the best place to buy a cowboy hat to replace my old one. My brother can't get around very well anymore so he wouldn't be going with me. Thanks for all the help and God Bless Texas. Please forgive me if this thread isn't cool. Wes

No help folks. Nobody in Dallas/Ft. Worth buy guns or wear cowboy hats? Don't tell me ya'll are liberal and voted for Obama. LOL.

I used to live in Azle, on the Ft Worth side of the metro mess. Most of the good stuff is on the Ft Worth side anyway.

    Guns
    - Cabelas north of Ft Worth on I-35W
    - Euless Guns and Ammo
    - Winchester Gallery
    - Lone Star Gallery in Weatherford (indoor range)

    Tackle Shop
    - Pro Am tackle, Inside the 820 loop on Jacksboro Hwy
    - Cabelas
    - Bass Pro in Grapevine
    - Bargain Hunter Outdoors in Weatherford.

    Boots n Hats
    - Justin Factory Outlets in Justin, TX. There are several different shops there, not far from Cabelas
    - Teskys in Weatherford, expensive but an awesome western store

    BBQ
    - you didn't ask, but try Angelo's on White Settlement in Ft Worth
    - Shady Oak if you want a fancier place, just outside the 820 loop north on 35W

you ought to at least check out the Texas Motor Speedway (cheap tours) and Jerry World (Cowboys stadium)

Thanks Warhawk for the information. I only have a little time to mess around so I am trying to map out my trips. Thanks for the BBQ tips, I love BBQ. Does Pro Am Tackle have a lot of crappie fishing stuff? If they have lots of crappie stuff I wouldn't mind going by and checking them out. I have a Bass Pro close to me, and there is two Cabela's within a few hours drive here in Georgia so I would rather hit some local shops and look at some different stuff. Thanks again.

I just heard about a new tackle shop in North Richland Hills, Anglers Pro Tackle.

pro Am is actually Olesons Pro Am tackle. Kind of an old time bait shop with a lot of tackle, cool place. Bass fishing is the big thing in Texas, so crappie gear will be in second place, at least.
