Just wanted you guys to know that my boat was running well and I do plan on joining you soon for some of those LOP crappie. I know you were getting worried! _

Wishing there were some reports on the forum. Wanted to go last weekend but still getting engine ready.

Thanks for the reports guys! My dad and my son and I went last Friday and Saturday. We only caught about 15 Friday and about 25 Saturday---we were fishing almost all day . The fishing was very slow and our biggest fish was only about 16". I'd love to catch an 18" fish! What do you guys think? Are the fish there already but not biting very well, or are there just not many fish deep yet?

We went last Sunday afternoon for about 3 hours and only managed about 10 fish----very slow. You could only find fish on the ledges of the channels, and they were extremely difficult to stay on top of. I'm hoping they're biting next weekend. I've got a "new" 16year old fishing rig that I hope to test out. I hope you post a report. I'm looking forward to some good news. I'm worried it's going to be a bad year.

I'm itching to get out there myself as soon as I see some reports of them biting better. What month do they usually move down towards the spillway?
