Switch fire is more than sensitivity settings its processing system of the sonar returns. The Clear Mode filters out the side lobes of sonar and look at only the most intense part of the sonar beam for a very precision based 2D sonar system. It also filters out "Clutter" like microscopic organisms, air bubbles and features automatic adjustment of power no matter the depth. Excellent sonar for shallow water depths so you don't over power.

Max Mode is unfiltered data it reads the side lobe returns and displays everything on the screen. It makes vertical fishing easier to track your lure on the screen.
