Thread: Easier way to post pictures from your computer.

i still use the old way...manage attatchments, just looks different, same proedure

My seeting was already okay, but when i try to click " Insert Imag" i get a box http:// and it want a link, i cant browes?

any ideas

it doesnt give me the slect from my computer only the http;// i would much rather browes inside my PC and select a picture. any ideas?

Which Icon are you using ??

When I click on the "insert image" icon (to the right of the "envelope" looking icon & under the right pointing blue arrow icon), this is what I get :

Add an Image

Upload ImageFrom Computer From URL Add an Image from your computer

Allowed Filetypes: jpg, jpeg, png, gif
Upload File(s)

File
Size

Files: 0


Basic
Uploader
Select Files
Upload File(s)
Clear List

You need to click on the "From Computer" link !! (I think your problem may be that it automatically defaults to the URL link, if that's what you're using)

Then ... if you click on "Basic Uploader" link, you get a box with the "browse" function. Clicking the Browse button will open a menu with your computer files. Run thru the files where your pics are, and click on the pic you want posted ... Click the "open" button & that should put the address/ID of the pic into the blank. Then hit "upload" :

I think i figured it out, im sure i was told to do this, but im a visual person. this is how its done:
