Thread: My weekend

Well Saturday my girlfriend and I went to Chattanooga for a wedding shower, quickly excused ourselves, and drove back to Nashville to get to my spot for night fishing where I guaranteed her we'd get into some crappie. Boy were we in for a surprise. We couldn't keep the striper off our hooks. I don't know how many caught, but here is a picture of the only one that didn't break the line. If I hadn't left the stinkin net at the house, we'd have had a couple wall hangers. Those things are really fun with an ultra light rod and 6 pound test. We kept this stripe and a few white bass. The white bass were full of eggs by the way.

Yesterday, she, I and my roommate went out to Old Hickory to get after some shellcrackers, but the tornadic wind kept pulling the anchors out, so we settled for bluegill. We turned them all loose, but they always make for a fun afternoon.
