I purchased the Driftmaster Crow Foot. Pretty simple to put together and install on boat. This "no drill" rod holder is designed for your 3/4" boat pedestal to fit through a pre-drilled hole and into your deck receptacle (for lack of better words) in order to secure the Crow Foot to boat. My pedestal is threaded and with the added width (minimal)of bar (of Crow Foot base) my pedestal threads will not reach threads in deck receptacle and tighten up. Hope this makes sense. Essentially, a boat pedestal with a longer threads would work. The pedestal fits down into the hole, however without threading the seat is wobbly and I fear it will damage receptacle. Dave at Driftmaster stated this was the first time the product did not properly fit. I have a Triton Tr200.

Any thoughts on how to resolve would be appreciated. Thanks
