If or when you consider going to Nickajack consider Hales Bar Marina, Hales Bar Marina and Resort on Nickajack Lake, Tennessee
They have floating cabins in the water pull boat right up to the back of the cabin and step into the cabin. I'm going back before March to look for some Crappie.

Water temp was 59 Monday morning in the Harrison bay area. They are always on, you just have to find them. I caught 1 in about 10' fow.
