I got out for a quick solo trip this morning. Not a terribly cold morning, and the water temp was 57-58 degrees. I went to an area where I have a few brush piles marked in deeper water. Today was a run and gun day, fish for 5-10 minutes, and move on. Since I have not fished much lately, it was search time. I only found one area where there appeared to be a good school of fish. I would catch one, then have to leave and return to get another. I didn’t catch quantity, but the quality was not bad for these parts. I did manage a TARP, probably because my wife wasn’t there to catch it! Most came from 17-20 FOW, about 10-12 feet deep. The best lure today was a BGBS in Electric Chicken. All fish were released this trip.
