The other day on Douglas (Indian Creek) I saw a float coming toward me and I pulled it out of the water. It had two jigs tipped with minnows (one still alive). One jig was a chartreuse curl tail, and the other looked something like a Slab Daddy. It had a chartreuse head and a black body with a very fine chartreuse tail.

Jump to yesterday. I had on a gray fly with a gray head on one pole, and a dark blue with a lighter blue head on the other. Nothing was touching the blue fly, only the grey. I switched to the Slab Daddy look alike and both pole were producing.

Does anyone know what that Slab Daddy look alike is??? I looked at Slab Daddy's website and they don't have that color.

Thank you for any help!!

BTW - caught 13 with 4 keepers yesterday. Not the numbers you all put up, but I was very pleased!
