Loudoun Report
We got out for a couple of hours this afternoon. The water temp was 58-59 in the area we fished. 17 FOW, pretty close to the bottom in brush. I tried a bit shallower, but not yet. We probably caught 20ish fish, and kept 4 for table fare. Today they seemed to want it on the fall, and most takes were a little slack in the line, or the "heavy" feeling. My pics are just before cleaning, as I rarely take pictures on the water. I don't have very good luck with phones and water! Full of eggs, and red veins, but I don't think we are quite there. With the upcoming forecast, I'm betting on a slowing of the process. A warm February and early March, but ol' Mother Nature is still in control!
