My wife and I moved to Paris, TN from Wisconsin in May of last year. Property taxes are 1/3 of Wisconsin, housing costs lower, cheap gasoline, fantastic lakes/fishing, warm(er) winters, low crime, nice people, (strangers even say hello) lifetime fishing and hunting license for seniors, blah, blah,blah, etc, etc, etc. The biggest drawback is a high sales tax.
