    Default Huge crappie

If you want to catch some crappies with shoulders on them, check out sardis lake in Mississippi. Me and my brother were down there this week and caught several over 2lbs, the size limit is 12 inches down there but of all the ones we caught we only had to measure one of them. Went to grenada also...not impressed, I do just as good here on Kentucky lake, they had numbers but not the constant huge size that sardis has. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1458389538356.jpg

2 of them were 2.5lbs, Thursday we were catching them in 5-3 feet of water at clear creek campground area on left hand side of the boat ramp.

Either one you decide on take you some BIG minners. Fish straight hooks on some and jigs tipped with minners and let them tell you. I usually fish pony heads with plastic and tipped but always have one pole with straight hook and Minner. Some days the get finicky.

I use Capps and Coleman double minnow rigs 1/2 ounce, we only used medium sized minnow the big ones didn't seem to mind that they weren't large minnows.
