BH ... I'd have to say KY Lake (Big Sandy) would be the premier locale. But, other than that, it's a toss up ... depending on which section of Tenn you're talking about (East/Middle/West).

I've only fished a couple in E Tn ... Watts Bar, Cherokee, & Douglas ... with Watts Bar being the most recent & most often fished. Chickamauga is often reported about on here, and most results seem to be pretty decent.

    ... cp

Seeing this post raised a question for me. My wife and I were the Park Attendants at Salt Lick Campground on Cordell Hull Lake for a couple of years. I did not get to fish it much so I was curious if any of you guys fish it and how it is?

SeaRay. SHHHHHHHH. Cordell Hull is a hidden secret. Once you mastered some locations it can be very good crappie fishing.
It also has some good sauger fishing as well.

A couple of the guys that came in to fish brought a sauger up to show me. I had caught Waylleye in Erie and Canada, but I had to look up Sauger to find it was a cousin to the Walleye. Guess there are Walleye in Cordell Hull too, but I never knew anyone to catch them. It is a secret apparently, because I seldom saw more than a boat or two, except for the holidays when the skiers and water fleas took over for a few days.

SeaRay, I have fished it a few times and I think it is good. Jug fish it for cats and do real good on 5lb and under. Beautiful, quiet campground.
