Ft. Loudon, 4/23

Fished Ft Loudon this morning up by dam. Crappie were holding at 25ft. in 30ft. of water.All the fish were females with eggs. The eggs did not look right,they were pale and mushy looking.Anybody know what causes this. I would think crappie right now should be in 3ft of water not 30.
