Tim I'll b down there the 6 7 8 march. Cheapiest place we found was Sportsmans North 69.00 a night, split 3 ways thats purty cheap place to stay for us. I ain't never been down at reelfoot so couldnt tell you where to fish.

hey everyone, me and my brother are coming down to reelfoot and staying monday and tuesday, 7&8th..was wondering were is a super cheap place to stay for one night, and also where to start fishing on the lake...i've been down there several times but it was hit or miss with the weather...wouuld love the help,thanks

Sportsmans South, same rate and your down on the main part of the lake, they have a ramp, it's a beautiful dive!! sportsmans north is cool too just kinda out of the way, watch the board plenty of people will be posting reports after the crappiemasters tourney on Saturday, until then it's tight-lipped!

I would say your chances are better on the South end for any decent numbers. How do you plan to fish?

for the spawn we get in the bay just West of Horse Island Ditch and fish the pads. Not sure if you can make it there right now though.

well monday was terrible caught just 1 12incher in the shallows in lower blue, stayed around 46 deg all day, nobody was catching anything that i talked to. wind picked up then the lake was all over the place, left the next day cause the wind was up first thing in the morning, went to lick creek caught 1 bass, then went to barkley lake in dover and got skunked...guess the weather is just not stable enough.
