    Fished Greenwood this AM. Thought it was going to be a limit day, but at 8:00 the breezed stopped and so did the crappie bite. We ended up with 19, but 15 came before 8:00. Water temp was 50. Fished until we were rained out at 12:30.

    Which part of the lake did you fish in.I tried yesterday morning also but did not catch a crappie.Water was calm and the temperature was right.
    Since i am just a beginner any advice on Greenwood would be helpful....Thanks...

    skm glad to hear you got on some fish. greenwood has been a little slow for some reason maybe it is me. my two girls talked me into taking them catfishing saturday morning . kayla 9yrs old caught one about 8# and two smaller ones .my 4 yr old helped me reel in a small one. we got luckey on the rain we just happen to be close to the bridge got ever thing reeled up and the bottom fell out .
