Christmas,the missus ,and well water.part 2
Well I took the "Queen Elizabeth 2/10"out for her maiden journey. She runs like a charm and seems easy on gas.I believe the 40 horse mercury is just right for Lake Greenwood. My brother in law came up from Tn. To show me how to run it.The first evening we launched, went out about a mile up the lake from the Republic and saw some gulls working.Soon we each had a fish on mine was a largmouth about 4 lbs and his a striper 3 1/2.We then had to head home.Man is fishing easy!!!!!!!!!
The next 2 1/2 days we fished hard and caught only a few ,perch, catfish, and one small bass.We looked for crappie everywhere but go just a handful.Man fishing is hard!!!!
We used minnows attached to small jigs.
We did get wet some but the winds were very light. The lake is up now from the rains so I dont know if that will change the fish habits.
Do love my boat and will be going again in the afternoon.BTW any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and good fishing..
