Looking at all the long range forecasts here and the surrounding areas that I fish tells me I might as well get used to the wind blowing. Only way to beat it is to get out there at first light on the days that aint so cold. With age it seems I dont wanna get out the house in freezing temperatures anymore.

Butch you are so right about the wind. I got the fix for that. I parked the pontoon for a while and will start fishing out of my boat. The wind does not effect it at all. Thinking seriously about selling the pontoon this spring and just go back to 2 boats.

There’s a pros and cons list for both. One the days it’s not windy, a toon sure is comfy…. Murray 2-16
