Like 91tiger said all the creek arms on the Togaloo can and will hold crappie. You didn't state what ramp you used so it is hard to know you location while on the water and where you have tried to find them. Seems brush piles and casting is the way to fish Hartwell this year so fishing the banks would be the best bet for getting the family on some fish on some of the back waters, maybe the pleasure boaters wont make the day a hard one in the toon.
