Operation North State 4/27
We had a great turn out yesterday, lots of fish caught lots of smiles all around. At Badin Lake for Operation North State
We were looking for Crappie, after the rain the West side of the lake looked a mud flat, the East side was still fishable. We tight lined around till we got a bite and spot locked on that bite. We spent 3 hours pulling perch out often doubles, we ran out of bait by 11 and ran back for more bait. Never got on them as good when we came back. MY Vet was tierd we were tired, we all had a great time on the water.

John, they appreciated the rod/reel set up. i found some at Walmart and took some them up as well. There is always a need for rods and reels for these guys and gals.
They have a retired guy that can fix reels and repair rods so if anyone has one or the other or both they can part with I'll be glad to haul them up there . Next event is May 23rd
