CB...the deer are hitting the turnips hot and heavy. I was told to replant the same this this fall...turnips, rape, kale, red and white clover, rye, and a few winter peas. I know the rye and winter peas will take the colder months but aint too sure that the rest will.(Any ideas?) I'm gonna reseed over top of what there grazing on late Sept. without plowing if theyre still jitting the plot. I am also fixing to spray weed killer on the other end of the service line and in a few weeks (@ late Sept) I'll broadcast seed and cut the weeds (with a walk behind brush cutter...cannot get a tractor here due to deep gullies) hoping for two winter plots for the kids to have come winter after the deer are thru with acorns. That's the plan anyway.![]()

You are a good man GBM. Would you adopt me, Brett, and uncle Remus?????![]()
Nice catch and report Butch. Some fine looking bucks roaming your plot. Almost looks too easy, but I know once that first shot on opening days happens those bucks will go nocternal.
