Brett, Deep means what it says! When I say it I am looking at 40 foot or more. The guys I know that fish brush in hot weather may start at 30 but usually find fish in 40 foot brush piles or on ledges and channels. They go every day and know where to find them at almost any given time. You may be fishing one of their brush piles. If you see a g3 with two older guys staring you down you know you hit nerve.
