    Default Lake Wylie 6/15/15

My wife wanted to go fishing for the 30th anniversary so took her to Lake Wylie. Got there and on the lake around 6 AM. Was really nice. Water temp started at 81.5. We were trolling for bass with the hopes of some big crappie liking the big cranks. My wife caught her limit on bass. I ran the boat most of the time so I let her do the catching. But I ended up with 2 bass and several perch. Left the lake about 1:30 and it was getting very hot. My wife was very happy with her limit on bass. We both were to tired from the heat and are very thankful for air conditioning.

Glad you had a good day! I worked in that hot air all day and yep! Air conditioning is great after going home and getting into the pool to cool off but then the cold air gets you really cooled down. Guess what? I got to do it again today! Dang it! Repeat

Good job on the bass, sorry no crappie wanted to play. I think they are hiding from all this heat. It is a scorcher here in Columbia today.

Engineman I grew up with no AC and we did not have window fans for a long time. Had those oscillating fans that kept blowing the same hot air over you while you tried to sleep. That is one part of the "good old days" I do not miss. I can handle being outside in the heat(up to a point) but I hated trying to sleep with the sheets sticking to you.

Nice way to spend the anniversary. Thanks for the report. I was down on the south end of lake with my wife Monday. I know two wives that are happy.
