    Default Wateree Next Week

Hey guys, looking for some leads on where the cats and striper might be next week after this water cleans up a little. Will be in the Colonel Creek area. Can net some shad and perch for bait. Finals are over next week, can't wait to get done and go fishing.

I plan to go next week, too. Not sure which day yet, I need to find bait first, my self. I didn't go this week and what bait I had from last week died! Can any one give us some places to catch bait, I'll be fishing the upper end. I would like to catch some gizzard shad, and some perch.

This time of year through summer I always can catch a handful of perch and gizzard shad on the edges of any grass or just general tosses from the dock. Not full nets by any means but it beats no bait.

Do striper like live white perch?

right when you put in look across the bay for a dock with a white tin roof go to the dark red dock right next to it and get ibetween the concrete wall and that dock and throw out rods in all directions with cut gizzard shAD thats my dock and there are tit loads of catfish around it when i got there friday night it didnt take me 2 minutes to get hooked up the biggest one we caught was a 37 pounder......as for striper just look for calm coves with shad and use a shad colored jerk bait

Yeah I don't ever keep them over 5 or 6 lbs. Catch and release is the way to go.
    Thanks for the help.

Thanks! How about the water, is it still muddy and high or is it settling down?
