If you had a Bass Pro submarine with rods sticking out the sides, then the wind would not bother you.
Boats were a bad idea from the get go.

Scoop, you should have fished today. I believe that everyone was at the recycle center talking about fishing with me. As far as the wind goes if the flag is standing straight out at full and half mast you better stay home like Remus and I should have Tuesday evening. Fish were biting but they were flying by us on the depth finder. LOL![]()

With the 2015 Bass Pro Crappie Sub or the deluxe Bass Pro Bass Hole Sub, you can finally get a great look at your favorite brush pile, stump field, or creek channel, following your finny friends on their confusing migrations from deep, to shallow, to deep, to shallow.......
At long last, hover directly over your chosen quarry , dropping up 16 individual colors, jigs, or minnows directly onto those tasty trophies' mystical lair.
Hanging up becomes a distant memory with the optional Brush Buster Retrival Grapple.
Additionally, you can instantly relocate large brush piles, EVEN TREES, to a new area, perplexing the hell out of non sub owners.
Collect and Resell millions of lost sinkers with the Bass Pro Metal Master Detector.
Custom colors, carpets available.

Here is the one I use. It covers most of the lakes I fish, but it might not cover the lakes you are going to fish.

A person should learn something new every day!
Weather For You .com and the one Gunwale has a link to above are the ones I refer to.
Now once you get the forecast prediction you need to apply the following rules: sustained wind speed x 2, wind gusts x 3. That usually works out about right!!
