Wont Be long 'Til...
...there's nothing much to do but fish. I dont rabbit hunt anymore and dont know anyone with dogs to go with and I dont wanna be cleaning squirrels so after the first of the year looks like about all I'll be wishing for is pretty weather (calm winds and no rain) so I can go fishing. Is anybody else been thinking about this lately?!?

I'm like you, I haven't rabbit hunted in years. My bad eyes have stopped me for hunting much anyway. But I am looking for some nice days to get the hooks wet and filling some coolers. Maybe it won't be long.....

Butch, I am getting excited about the calendar clicking nearer to Feb. 1st and big swollen crappies flopping in the net.....I've been fighting off cabin fever with a few trips to the Chattooga river and catching a few trout. Looking forward to seeing 50+ degree water on my depth finder and long lining again............

I've been a few times but havent filled the coolers yet. I do catch a decent mess for a fish fry every time I go out though. Longlining aint plum dead but I havent wanted to mess with minner fishing yet. When I get thru the hunting season I'll probably buy some minners and do some spider rigging with down lines. All that will come after the first of the year though.
