    Default Longlining w/Scooperdude 5-17

After Scooperdude let it know he was wanting to learn some crappie fishing techniques,,I told him Id show him what (litttle) I know.We made plans for a trolling 101 and met at cane creek this morning. After a quick lesson in what and how we were going to troll we were off to a slick calm morning thank the llord. We caught a lot of fish mostly small but kept 29 for the knife.Heres Scooperdude with his first ever longlining crappie
    .
Heres the best fish of the day,13.5 in,,1lb 6 oz.
    .
And heres a "live action" shot of a nice sized catfish, which Scooperdude said very good on the long pole.

I think I got him wanting to take up crappie fishing now.The ol 'striped' fish are still sorta scarce at wateree.
Anyway the Lord blessed us with a very nice day on the water, with fish to boot.I enjoyed your company Grady>

We had a great day on the water . I learned you don't need to be a rocket scientist to catch Crappie so I'm all in . I have to start looking a gear( gee hard life when you HAVE to go shopping for fishing gear) sam is a good teacher . The clicker counted 84 fish hit the boat and Sam took 29 home. Sam was nice enough to let me catch a lot of fish, I don't think I;ll do as well next time :-)
    Thanks Sam!!

Now that's getting after 'em! Every day doesnt always produce those numbers but then again some days produce alot more. Sounds like a good trip and some keepers to take home as well. Congrats to both you guys.

Sam I think someone has hacked your email account. Over the last month I have got a couple emails from you with just a link that doesn't look like something you would send. Just a heads up...
