Default Let the Good Times Roll

The fishing has continued to be smoking hot this week. Made three trips, one with Tommy, the others with guest, all were limit hauls of some quality fish. Fish are being caught in a variety of water depths and locations. All were caught with one pole, vertically jigging structure. We are catching fish on brush, logs, grass, lily pads, stumps, trees, and standing timber in water depths from a couple of feet, down to 20 plus. The fish are aggressive, and moving in and out of the structure. We are still catching fish with a good many eggs still in them, but the sacs are continuing to get smaller as the spawn winds down. The whites are still carrying most of their eggs, but we aren't catching many of them. A variety of color combos are being successful, with all fish coming off of Rooty Tooty 309's. Water temps are remaining in the mid 70's, with the lake levels continuing to be up and down. The water is clearing up as we are in need of some soaking rains.

Thanks for posting the report Timmy. Since I have had to miss the last two weeks because of medical reasons I have enjoyed reading your post and seeing the pics of those nice crappie, helps to fan a fire that is burning inside of me that can't wait to get back on the lakes!
It is great to hear the jigging poles are the 309's are doing the job for y'all. This is the best time of the year for all around fishing and I hope others are enjoying some time on the waters also.
    Congrats to you and Tommy

Great catch in those last two pics

Congratulation on your 3 day fishing trip! Glad you, Tommy and your guest had a blast. I'm going to have to agree with Tommy on the hair. lol He's a handsome little fella Tim. Oh yea my neighbor gave me some bream sat that they caught at santee on wed, thurs and friday. I'm talking huge! Said they were on fire! I thought about going to santee but a little nervous taking a fiberglass boat, don't feel like patching a hole. Tim as always thanks for the report and pics!

Glad to see your lake is still producing. I remember last year seemed really slow for you guys. Maybe it was a little later on though. Congrats on some good catches and some nice fish.

BTW, that grandchild looks to be a GREAT catch too.
