Red face Winter project finished just in time!!

I ran across a boat and trailer for sale last fall and bought it for the trailer and had planned to take the boat to the dump. After getting it home and taking a better look at it I decided to do a little recon on it to see what it looked like after some of the old carpet was removed. I thought to myself, I can fix that! So began my winter project. I been running the 40 hp and the 9.9 hp on my tracker for awhile now and decided to move the 40 into this Mark 1 and set the tracker up for the small lakes that have a motor size limit.
The boat didn't have anything left on it but a steering wheel so nothing got in the way while rebuilding the boat to how I wanted it setup. Took a little more time and money than I first thought it would but it is setup and ready to put on the lake just in time for the crappie bite to began. Pulled it out of the shop today and hope to try it out Monday if all goes right.

Few pics of before and after.

Already on there, built a base and the rod holder slide in once at the lake. You can see the base and the rod holders laying on the floor in the next to last pic.

Nice job Stump Hunter! I did the same thing to an old Pisces boat but not sure about rod holders and tm. What kind of rod holder slide and how did you mount tm? Did you have to lift top of boat? Thanks

So what does that make.....3 I-pilots now?!? LOL She looks good to me Ronnie. I know you and your pooch are gonna appreciate the wide open room. One thing though...you gonna need another bimini top before it gets hot.

Thanks guys, looking forward to hitting the lake. Butch this is only one I-pilot, the other V2 will only have the foot control for awhile.

Eatmorecrappie, my rod holders are custom built and I'll post some pics of them tomorrow for you. The trolling motor was a pain in the tail!! After a lot of thinking I made a bracket for each side of the base that had to be bent to match the boat. Not the best design but it works I'll get a pic posted of it also.. I didn't have to take the top off the boat as most of the back was already cut out.
