Thanks Ronnie. We could not get the screen cleared all morning. It masked anything that might have been under us.

There are different modes (such as night vision) on the finder so make sure it's set up for the screen you want to see.
Mine also did this out of the box, it is in the settings. I cant remember right off, but i believe its sonar settings, change to manual, then go in and change sensitivity or clarity etc. I cant remember exactly without having mine in front of me, but its NOT the default sensitivity option form the menu, you actually have to go in and switch something to manual. pathway could be sonar, then settings, then manual
Here's a shot I took this morning on a lowrance gps
What do you think I'm seeing. I think it's Perch or Crappie. They were cleaning my hooks without getting a hook up.

I would say that's a school around 28ft Also some bait fish up top with fish darting at them, my opinion only. Plenty of qualified folks on here to help u out.
I agree with coors with the school at 28'. I would say they are small wp being they were getting your bait without a hook up
Thanks, that's what I thought, sometimes I wonder if I'm thinking right.
It got really thick under the boat a couple times. The biggest cat came from about 26' down on a down rod see the picture on the watered 7/26 topic
Ok folks, the pic below is from Clarks Hill two weeks ago. I am not to sure what I am looking at, but bait fish maybe?

I would say bait fish, may have been fish feeding up from the bottom. Looks like a few bigger returns showing under the bait.
Here are two pics from my HDS 7. Pretty neat to compare the 2D to the DI. Still need to clean up the overlay data such as temp and depth so they don't overlap. You can size and position to suit.
