The LSS1 is no longer available, and is 3" shorter than the LSS2. I have both. you can see very little difference between the two. Its a sham you can not buy the LSS1 anymore. Both LSS1 and LSS2 will work with any HDS unit. You do not have to have the 'box" if you have a touch screen.
