No, you would need to buy the LSS2 transducer that's why it's priced so cheap.If you bought this and the transducer you would save around $200 and have everything you need

what is the difference between the lss1 and lss2 I have a 1 and an hds 8 gen2

The LSS1 is no longer available, and is 3" shorter than the LSS2. I have both. you can see very little difference between the two. Its a sham you can not buy the LSS1 anymore. Both LSS1 and LSS2 will work with any HDS unit. You do not have to have the 'box" if you have a touch screen.
