But if I go that route, I would not have as much fun, so dono. Maybe I slap some bearings in it, polish what's left of the crank, and see if it runs for a at least test drive or two, to figure out it'n I'd be happy with a four cyl.
That's what I kinda did with the Fishin' Expedition. One of the passenger side Rocker Arms lost the needle bearings in the Roller which allowed the Rocker Arm Frame to ride on the Overhead Camshaft. It scarred it, I couldn't get just a Camshaft so I did my super best polish job on the Camshaft 40K+ miles ago and put it back together with a new set of Ford Rocker Arms. Camshafts have a hardened shell if non-roller but I don't know if the Ford Cam was hardened. I will look at it at some point in the future since that valve cover leaks oil and if it's failing at least I can plan to pull the Heads before it does. I only use pure synthetic oil and change it regularly. Oh, an use Moly-additive, the German stuff.
