Default New to structure scan ..... Are these tires?

Really enjoying my hds8 genII , found this the other day on my "home lake" in a area I've drove through likely thousands of times..... Is it a pile of tires?

Yes they are. The first time I scanned those I thought the same thing. If those are the ones I'm thinking I normally get some on cranks around there.

Thats a cell pic of the screen..... I haven't messed with saving actual screen shots on it yet ...... It looked real good "in person" on the screen.

Definitely Tires. I have them in my reservoir and they look the same. You can actually see the individual lugs on them when they are first placed before the moss starts growing on them.

Our boat ramps have concrete steps that run down into the water ( flood control lake ) ....... I looked at it on the side scan..... You could count each stair plain as day and had great detail of the ramp itself .....I have over 200 wpts on my "home lake" and know what majority of them are, so first thing I did was side scan the stuff that I knew for sure was to et an idea of what stumps/ brush/ stake beds etc will look like.... It def takes a lot of guess work out of structure..... Once I got my LSS2 ducer at the correct angle I started getting great images

Zoom in on it and you will see the detail. Also saving it to the unit and then looking at it on the PC. You will see stuff you did not see on the screen. Wish I had the screen shots of the Big Motor Grader tires standing up. Couple of old guys cut a hole in the tops of them. Then poured concrete in the bottom. These tires are still standing up after 30 years.
