Me and Jordan Limit are having the same problem with the wierd lines showing up on the 360 off and on.
It comes and goes so never a major issue, also we now turn the Onix on and off to bring SI back when occasionally the SI shows a blank screen.
Hopefully these strange events will be corrected in future updates.

I think that your issue is not the same as redge.the hummingbird core units are ssupposed to automatically turn pinging off to si/did when the 360 starts pinging.at times, for some reason this fails to happen.a restart seems to fix this.with the onix , this shouldn't be an issue , because this can be done manually by selecting 455khz
off or switching to 800khz .
The issue you described with the si screen going black sometimes, should not be happening if your running the current software on your onix
(Or at least, I have not had this happen on my unit)

Kosmo, in your 360 snap posted above can you explain why the center ring is labeled 20 (I think this would be set for boat length) but in the upper right corner the Ring is listed as 25.5ft.

I have a transom mounted 360, hooked to an onix 10.the 20ft. ring is the offset I have chosen to use (on hummingbird core units, the offset is displayed as a line with blue dot at the end.the range rings would be displayed every 25.5 feet , for this particular range, that I have set, but I have turned, range rings off.

here's the range rings on.theres three stake beds (that other object is a duck blind, that's out of range) that I had my boat setting in the middle, when I took the snapshot.using the range rings, how far would you say that the boat is from the stake beds???

That's a very good representation of what stakes beds would look like on 360 ...

    Good info kosmo ...

Kosmo, it looks like you have the "Contour" ON so the center of the one at 12 o'clock would be ~ 58 ft. the one at 2 o'clock center is ~ 73 ft. and the one at 6:30 center ~ 45 ft. HB told me that with Contour on the 360 calculates the Horizontal distant to the object.

Thanks for the explanation on your Onix 360. I always have my rings turned "ON" so have not seen that. I do have my off-set at my boat length on my 360 TM. That way if I am parallel to the bank or cover I have a good idea where the cover is to boat if I'm casting to it.

With Range set at 115ft the first ring is always going to be 29ft. and the water column would be a circle (if flat bottom) that would equal 21ft. ( 8ft inside the 29ft ring )
